This was an awesome event. We barely made it in time for the 10:00am fireup and stayed for the 11:00 as well. I'll post a few pictures on Friday.

They do lots of cool little stuff. They also let car clubs and others have shows there. Last time I went was to watch a demo on some stuff, and before that a BMW CCA meet.

Definitely! A great community that knows what they are talking about when it comes to Beemers! If you have one, don't forget to add both BMW CCA and Griot's Garage on Facebook. BMW CCA actually created/i guess hosted the last Caffeine and Gasoline with the F1 cars.

Some of the BMW CCA guys have complete beaters they are working on. Don't hide your machine ;). That Pro3 car was pretty cool. You will see more and more of them as you go to BMW CCA meetups.

I know that feeling. The BMW CCA membership costs either $40 or $45 a year if I remember correctly. Half the people that go to the shows aren't actually in the club but just show up anyway. There are benefits like discounts and what not however.
